Layne Shea is one of
the members of the Peak Properties team who has called
Aspen home since the day that she was born. Layne was
raised by her parents, Dale and Sally Potvin, to love
all things Aspen and it was only natural that she would
always call the Roaring Fork Valley home.
She grew up exploring the outdoors with her brother Ryan
on the Roaring Fork River, the hiking trails of the
Hunter Creek Valley, and the slopes of Aspen Mountain
while attending Aspen schools. After graduation from the
University of Colorado at Boulder, Layne headed out to
travel the world and explore places far from the valley
she knew so well. Along with traveling through much of
Central America, she has lived in Italy and |

backpacked for over a year around the South Pacific. Even after
seeing some of the most beautiful places on the planet has to
offer and trekking through the Earth's most impressive mountains
in the Himalayas, Layne couldn't deny the lure of returning to
Aspen.
While her roots are in Aspen, Layne recently purchased her first
home in Basalt and is quickly becoming involved in the mid
valley communities. Exploring the towns and trails beyond Aspen
has complimented both Layne's market knowledge and her outdoor
enthusiasm. At Peak Properties her current focus is helping to
head a mixed use and commercial development in Rifle called 14th
Street Marketplace. In addition Layne helps to run the business
and support the sales team at Peak Properties.
Through out her life, Layne has had a first hand perspective of
the real estate market in Aspen through her father Dale. He has
taught her the values that have shaped Peak's great reputation.
Today, Layne works at Peak in the family business where she is
learning daily and sharing her growing knowledge of the
expanding valley. Away from the office, Layne can always be
found actively pursuing her passions outside or planning her
next great travel adventure.
There's a reason that Layne Potvin
always returns to the valley, and she'd love to show you why.
