TOM KILBY, Associate Broker
Tom recently moved to the Roaring Fork Valley after 14 years in New York City in the sports marketing business. However, Tom is no stranger to Aspen and the valley—and certainly not a greenhorn when it comes to the real estate business. Tom’s family owned a home in Aspen in 1969 and he has been visiting regularly ever since. Tom and his father recently developed 40 acres along the Roaring Fork River in Carbondale into five ranchettes with shared common land. Tom knows that most of all, success is all about people. His approach to business is to “listen, understand, and anticipate.” Those qualities make Tom a great facilitator. Tom and his wife, Lisa, moved to the Roaring Fork Valley with their two young daughters because they felt it was the best environment to raise a family. In addition, he also sees the area as providing great opportunity given the wave of young professionals establishing themselves here. And then there is the great outdoor environment. As an avid outdoorsman who likes to fly-fish, alpine ski, hike, horseback ride, and play polo, Tom fits right in with the Peak Properties Team.
